WHAT TYPES OF BUSINESSES/PRODUCTS DO YOU TAKE ORDERS FOR? We take orders for almost any type of software program or electronically fulfilled product (e-books, web site subscriptions, etc.).  With only a few exceptions, we also gladly take orders for other items such as books, CD's, etc.  We will actively consider (and likely welcome) taking orders for any product as long as the product:

  • does not promote violence, discrimination, unlawful acts, or pornography
  • is not spam-related
  • is not some type of "get rich quick" scheme
  • is not for events subject to cancellation (concerts, cruises, seminars, etc.)

  • HOW LONG DOES THE APPLICATION PROCESS TAKE? I WANT TO START AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. If you complete the online signup form accurately, you should not have any problems getting set up moments after we review the information (which is often just a few minutes after it was submitted).  From that point on, you have real time control over adding, modifying, and deleting products via an easy-to-use control panel.


    HOW OFTEN HAVE YOU HAD TO INCREASE YOUR FEES? I'M CONCERNED THAT THE FEES WILL SUDDENLY GO UP AFTER I SIGN UP. We have never had to increase our fees (in fact, we have actually lowered them 5 different times)! We have been fortunate enough to grow at a fast enough rate to absorb any increase in operating costs and to actually gain more economies of scale in our operation as we take more and more orders.


    CAN I TAKE A CREDIT CARD ORDER AND JUST PASS THE INFORMATION TO YOU? No, because we are the merchant, we must accept the order directly from customers.  Otherwise we would be participating in something called "factoring" which essentially means one business is processing credit card transactions for another business -- something forbidden by the credit card companies.  Our services, of course, are much more than processing credit cards, as they involve the much more valuable service of actually providing a convenient way for people to order, maintain statistics, maintain continuity of an e-mail address, secure web site, fax number and generally offer more of a "big business" environment that helps us all enjoy the resulting economies of scale we can obtain.  We are essentially reselling your products or services for a very small commission and arranging any shipping that needs to be performed to be done with a "drop ship" arrangement.  Thus, we are the ones that need to collect the credit card payments directly from the customers to ensure the function of our services stays as it should.


    HOW ARE ORDERS FILLED?

    We offer you several options which can be used in various combinations:

    1. You can customize your product information so that a download link to a registered copy of your product is automatically e-mailed to customers immediately after their payment has been processed (essentially a free post-payment download service).

    2. Another option (which can be used with, or in place of, the download feature) is for you to take advantage of our CD-ROM fulfillment services wherein you to easily add the option of providing your customers on-demand CD's. In addition to offering you a few more dollars profit, this feature helps reduce technical support for people that lose their "download", all the while providing a valuable service to the many customers that would like a backup CD for their purchase. You need only to complete a few fields in your product details to have this new feature up and running. The entire process, from capturing the order from the customer, to affixing an attractive color label with your product name on it, to packaging the CD in a heavy mailer, to mailing the CD is conveniently managed for you!!! Another valuable feature is that your product is retrieved via FTP from the URL you indicate so that you can always ensure you customers are getting the latest version of your product by keeping that download file current.

    3. You can customize the message our system automatically e-mails customers immediately after their purchase to provide unlock codes or special download instructions.

    4. If you would prefer to fill orders yourself, our system e-mails you a notice right after an order is placed, with the date of purchase, customer's name, e-mail address, and shipping address. Many of our clients use the above option to provide customers a generic code that works regardless of the user's name or whatever. Then, to address concerns that the generic code may become compromised, the code is limited in time (usually 30 days) until a more permanent code (one you generate and give to them) is entered. This strategy keeps the process quick and simple, keeps the end users happy, and addresses any concerns you could have about the code being disclosed (you maintain complete control over the final unlock code being issued).
